CONSULTANCY SERVICES

  • Research and Feasability Study

Before you speed ahead with your plans, it is always prudent to carry out a feasability study on your proposed business. As consultants we will carry out a site analysis to assess its suitability. At the same time we will evaluate the local demographics to ensure they are in line with your consumer profile. A detailed competitor research will help determine price point and USP's (unique selling points) further down the line. On the financial side of things we can give an indication the required capital outlay, operational costs, anticipated payroll overheads and identifying potential revenue streams. A detailed financial projection and budget can also be prepared.

  • Assist in developing a concept, vision, and philosophy

Its important to ensure the chosen concept has been influenced by current trends, market demands, fits the consumer profile and above all has a clear unique selling point which will give the business a competitive edge.   • Facility Analysis

Design errors can be very costly to any business.  We will be happy to discuss with you spa layouts to ensure you create a comfortable and efficient operation flow within your spa. Treatment rooms need to be adequately spacious and effectively laid out, with plenty of storage, both within the treatment rooom and else where within the spa. We have our own Spa Designers, however even if you have your own preferred designer, we will be happy to review the site plans and ensure you are maximizing all the potential space and creating a environment which will be welcoming and relaxing.

  • Compile a Policies and Procedures Manual

The best way to ensure your team works efficiently and effectively is to put systems in place. This is best documented in a policies and procedures manual.  We will bespoke the manual to your business and take the hard work away from you of creating something from scratch.

  • Retailing

  • Time guide lines for a new business project management

A new business may begin even a year before the spa actually opens the door.  Taking into account the research and planning, then the build out, alongside the recruitment process and staff training, everything has to be timed perfectly to ensure the business opens on time.  We will put together a CPA (critical path analysis) and for you to monitor that everything is in place at the right time.

  • Pre-Opening Trial Week

This is when it all becomes live and staff go through the motions of a typical week.  It always helps to have someone on hand to over come any problems and ensure that everyone understands their role within the business and that they are completely prepared for the first real clients who will walk in the door the following week.

  • Opening Week

Once again we can come on site to assist in the smooth running of the spa particularly if a large marketing drive has been put into place and you are expecting a lot of clients through the door.  As an extra pair of eyes we can ensure that systems are being implemented right from the beginning and customer service is second to none.

  • Post Opening and On Going Support

You may choose to continue your consultancy support until management and the team have reached a comfort level.

  • Mystery Shopper Analysis

This is an opportunity for management to get constructive feedback on any aspect of the business.  An impromptu visit would be arranged without prior knowledge to the team whereby we would be the client enabling us to assess the level of customer service, ambiance, client journey, environment, quality of treatment, and retail experience.  This is a perfect opportunity to identify training needs and the visit would follow with a report and recommended action plan. 

  • SWOT Analysis

Identifying the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats of any business can ensure it is moving in the right direction or put it back on the right path.  Once this analysis has been done we will make recommendations so that you can put together an action plan.

  • Team Building

A meeting may be arranged in preparation for a new launch of a treatment, brand, or perhaps a total revamp.  You may decide, an annual Team Building exercise is good practice to motivate and acknowledge and reward for hard work.  What ever your purpose we can assist you in making your event memorable and effective.

  • Open Days/Guest Speaker Evenings
